Species of Clare

Français

Using iNaturalist, people can take an image of any organism outside and get immediate suggestions for ID. You can also upload pictures you’ve previously taken and get help with identification from other naturalists online. It works for any plant, bird, lichen, insect, fungus, mammal, fish, reptile, amphibian… Even tracks and scat!

Species observations in Clare as of September 2019.

How to help

Simply create an iNaturalist account and start uploading observations in Clare! To see a real-time map and stats, check out our “Species of Clare” project page!

Our progress and top naturalists

In May 2019 when we started this project, iNaturalist had only 75 species recorded in Clare. We’ve now observed over 200 species! The top naturalist in Clare was Dan Robichaud who has uploaded more than 130 observations including at least 90 unique species! Amazing work!
